Our Story

 
 

We (Morgan and Irma Robinson) co-founded Southside as an extension of who we are and what we believe in. Our cooking draws on Morgan and Irma’s roots in Mexico and California as well as our experiences eating and drinking all over the world – Morgan as a classically trained chef, and Irma as a hospitality pro. We aim to delight our guests with exciting seasonal flavors, wholesome ingredients from the best local vendors, and best-of-class beverage offerings for everyone in Napa Valley –  even (and especially) those who don’t drink alcohol. 

Creativity, quality and living well have inspired our work from the very beginning, and they continue to drive us today. Like us, our Café is constantly evolving… offering space for community to meet, to share, and to grow stronger together. Join us on our journey.

OUR FOOD HAS AN IDENTITY

The birth of Southside came to life through combined culinary and cultural experiences. This includes influences from fresh California ingredients, Australian Cafe Lifestyle, Mexican Heritage, and French Culinary Training.


OUR SPACE HAS SOUL

Classic design with artistic Latin influences are at the forefront of our initial design. From there we let the space and new inspirations lead the way.

We create an environment where people want to spend time and gather. Each of

our locations have a turntable record player, hospitality driven staff, and a hip vibe.
